Build 10 β Weekly Operating Rhythm
Every hour of your solo-operator week mapped. No decisions required. Open, execute, close laptop.
The thesis: Solo operators fail because every morning starts with "what should I do today?" This doc eliminates that question for 5 days a week. You're trading creativity for velocity. Creative energy goes into content batching on Monday β everything else is mechanical.
π·οΈ The 5 Work Categories
| Category | Goal | Weekly Hours |
| OUTREACH | Fill the pipeline | ~7.5 hrs |
| DELIVERY | Fulfill paid work | ~8 hrs (scales with clients) |
| SALES | Close booked calls + inbox | ~3 hrs |
| CONTENT | Build organic inbound | ~3 hrs (Monday batch) |
| ADMIN | Books, metrics, planning | ~2 hrs |
Total: ~23 hrs/week active work. Plenty of buffer for thinking, learning, life.

π Weekly KPIs (Friday review)
| Metric | Weekly Target | Monthly Target | Action if Missed |
| Leads scraped | 150 | 600 | Add a scrape session Wed PM |
| Looms recorded | 20 | 80 | Check: are you actually queuing 10 tabs pre-batch? |
| Cold emails sent | 60 | 240 | Template fatigue β rotate subject lines |
| Replies received | 6β9 | 24β36 | Audit subject lines + opening line |
| Calls booked | 2β3 | 8β12 | Email body is pitching not selling the call |
| $175 closed | 1β2 | 4β6 | Call close rate β use objection library |
| Retainers won | β | 1β2 | Day 21 pitch email needs punch-up |
π§ The 5 Rules of the Rhythm
- Batch or die. Looms in batches of 10. Emails in one session. Content in one morning. Context-switching is the silent killer of solo-ops.
- Sales calls Tue/Thu only. Calendly blocks every other day. Protects your delivery days.
- Friday is sacred. Reports, metrics, finance. No new outbound. Gives you data to plan Monday with.
- If you skip a day, skip OUTREACH β never DELIVERY. Clients pay. Prospects don't (yet).
- Sunday off. No exceptions. Burnout kills this business faster than any bad month.
π¨ Scaling Triggers
| When you hit⦠| Next move |
| 5 retainer clients | Hire a VA for review responses + post scheduling (~$400/mo) |
| 10 retainer clients | Add second VA for report generation, systemize everything via Notion |
| $10k MRR | Hire part-time fulfillment lead, you move to sales + strategy only |
| $20k MRR | Stop doing outbound yourself β SDR or Upwork appointment setter |
